Frankston is where suburban Melbourne meets the Mornington Peninsula. The beach and the foreshore are a genuine part of daily life here, and the suburbs behind it, Seaford, Carrum Downs, Langwarrin and Karingal, are a mix of older brick veneer and newer estates.
The bay makes getting outside an easy and useful part of a support plan, and a walk on the foreshore does more for most people than an hour indoors. Frankston Hospital means some of our work starts on discharge, and the peninsula towns further south add travel that we are upfront about.
Frankston itself and the suburbs immediately behind it are quick to cover. Further down the peninsula the driving adds up, so we talk through what is realistic before setting a standing time rather than after.
