Geelong is Victoria's second city and it works like one, with its own hospital, its own suburbs and its own pull on the towns around it. Newtown and Belmont hold the older housing, Corio and Norlane the more affordable stock, and the Bellarine towns beyond are steadily filling with retirees.
Support here often spans a wide area with a single worker, because the drive from Geelong out to Ocean Grove or Drysdale is short enough to make that practical. Older weatherboard housing means steps and small bathrooms, and yard work is a frequent first request.
The run from Geelong out to the Bellarine is short enough that one worker can reasonably cover both, which is unusual and useful. Relocations from Melbourne are common, and support set up before the move goes better than support picked up after it.
