Parramatta is a CBD in its own right, with a major hospital precinct at Westmead on one side and dense new apartment towers on the other. Harris Park, Granville and Merrylands around it are among the most linguistically diverse suburbs in Australia.
The Westmead precinct means a lot of our work here starts at a hospital discharge, where support has to be in place quickly and for a short, defined period. Language matching matters, and so does knowing which building a worker can actually get into without a resident escorting them up.
Almost everything we do here sits within fifteen minutes of the Parramatta or Westmead precinct, which makes this one of the easier areas to staff reliably. Discharge referrals from Westmead are the most common way our work in this area starts.
